WOMAN FOUND CHILDREN SHOES ON HER LATE HUSBAND’S GRAVE…

After Ellen lost her husband Paul, she would visit her husband’s grave whenever she could find the chance. At first, she had no interesting or out of the ordinary experience. She would visit her husband’s grave, talk a bit, then cry and then talk a bit too.

But lately, Ellen was finding children shoes over her husband’s grave. Each time, the number of the shoes would increase.

Interestingly, they didn’t have any children, so who was putting those shoes above Paul’s grave.

On the last time she visited Paul’s grave, she found six pairs of children shoes. That was it she was going to find the person who was responsible for it.

In one early morning, she caught the woman who was putting the shoes. The woman had long dark hair, and slowly put the shoes she had in her hands.

Ellen was holding some lilies for she brought for her husband, and she dropped them when she found the woman. She immediately rushed towards her husband’s grave and asked to the woman.

“Who are you?”

Then she recognized the woman.

“Maya?”

Maya was Paul’s secretary. For years, she worked for her husband. Ellen never saw her after Paul passed away as Maya quit her job. She was always kind towards Ellen.

“You…” Ellen stuttered. “You and Paul? You were with my husband…”

Then she noticed the small boy who was hiding in between his mother’s long skirt.

“He’s Paul’s son.” Maya said, “His name is Oliver.”

“I thought maybe if I let him leave the shoes, he could feel connected somehow. I didn’t mean to hurt you. I swear, I didn’t.”

Ellen wanted to hit Maya. Wanted to scream at her, but the innocence of Oliver stopped her. She slowly knelt down before him, and patted his head which little boy throw an innocent smile, and turned his head once again with shyness.

Maya then told Ellen that she will stop bringing Oliver. Ellen stopped her, as she told Maya that she should come, as it would comforting Oliver. A children who was leaving shoes couldn’t harm Ellen. But knowing that making them stop leaving shoes would hurt Oliver, and that would devastate Ellen.
