Donald Trump had the eyes of the world on him when he declared victory in the US presidential election, but more than a few glances shot across the stage to his 18-year-old son, Barron.

Barron is Trump’s youngest son with Melania and is studying Business at New York University. Barron will not be a permanent resident of the White House as he will stay in New York for his college and Melania too is unlikely to shift her base to Washington from New York full time.
Addressing a sea of jubilant supporters cheering for his astonishing comeback four years after leaving the White House, Trump was flanked by family members including his wife Melania, daughter Ivanka, and his youngest child Barron, who towers above him at 6-foot-7. Donald Trump’s height is thought to be at 6 feet 2 inches, while Barron Trump stands at approx 6 feet, 8 inches tall.
Why is donald trump’s son Barron Trump so tall?
In January, Trump addressed his son’s height after a record-breaking win in the Iowa caucuses.
Barron’s height is apparently a result of his grandmother’s cooking— Melania Trump’s late mother, Amalia Knavs.
The former President thanked Knavs for all she had done for the Trumps.
“That’s how he got so tall; he only ate her food. I said you’re gonna be a basketball player. He said, well, ‘I like soccer, Dad,’ actually. I thought… at your height, I like basketball better, but you can’t talk them into everything,’” he explained.
He also called Barron a ‘special boy’ and said he was ‘watching on TV’.
