I Love My Children

I am a parent who is not just proud of one of my kids, but all of them. I am not biased when it comes to how I feel towards my children; I will always love them equally.

I believe my children are like different fruits; they are all sweet with different tastes; I don’t expect orange to taste like watermelon, I believe they are all unique and special in their way.

When I look back at the struggles I had raising these kids, I can only laugh and thank God that they turned out so well and lovely.

I wasn’t a parent who loved forcing my opinion on my kids; I always loved hearing them out and trying to correct them if necessary.

I groomed them to always trust and confide in me and it is my biggest flex as I know everything about them.

They were points my friends advised me against giving them room to make their own decisions; they always felt I was spoiling them and one told me to my face they weren’t going to turn out well for any reason.

I know my kids very well like my palms and I will always vouch for their actions.

One of the scenarios that brought issues in the family was when my kids wanted to choose a vacation and I allowed follow their passion, instead of the regular surgeon vacation which was imposed on my husband’s siblings.

They said it was a family profession and at least the first child should carry it on; I refused to let them push my child into something he didn’t want to do.

These kids knew I loved them so much and whenever they want to make major decisions in their life let me call my mom she knows best.

I love all my kids, no matter how grown they are, they will always be my little angels.
