Hair in the drain pipe, the old grandmother’s trick to remove it in a second

Often, due to poor ventilation or climate, the dreaded mold can form on the walls of our homes. In addition to being unsightly, mold can be very dangerous both for our health and for the structure of our home.

In this article we explain how to remove mold from walls.

Lavender essential oil

You will need: 100 ml of denatured alcohol and 1 drop of lavender essential oil. These are two valuable allies against mold. By mixing them, spraying them on the walls covered with mold, leaving them to act for a few minutes then brushing them, it will be possible to remove the mold from the walls.

Hydrogen peroxide

You need: 700 ml of water, 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide (3%), 2 tablespoons of baking soda, 2 tablespoons of salt. Mix all the ingredients and spray directly onto the mold. Remove it with a clean cloth or toothbrush.

Natural and fragrant anti-mold

You need: 15 drops of cinnamon essential oil, 10 drops of Manuka essential oil, 200 ml of water, 200 ml of apple cider vinegar. Mix the ingredients and spray the areas you removed the mold from. In addition to deodorizing the environment, they will help prevent mold.

Grapefruit seed extract

You need: 500 ml of water, 2 teaspoons of grapefruit extract, 2 teaspoons of tea tree essential oil. Grapefruit oil and tea tree oil are powerful antibacterial and antifungal agents. Mix the ingredients together and apply them to the mold. Leave on for a long time to promote antifungal action, then remove with a clean cloth.
